According to a new report, former President Donald Trump is furious with far-right activist Charlie Kirk because he is “causing problems” for the campaign’s efforts to win over Black voters.

In an NBC News piece published Sunday (which corroborated key portions of an earlier RealClearPolitics piece), an unnamed person identified as being close to Trump revealed the former president’s feelings about the young conservative influencer.

“Trump is fucking pissed that Charlie is out causing problems for him in the Black community,” the person told NBC.

Kirk has come under fire recently for, among other things, calling Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy a “myth,” and questioned the qualifications of Black pilots.

Despite the recent controversy, Donald Trump Jr. denied his father is angry with Kirk — telling NBC that the idea Kirk is not in “great standing with both my father and the entire Trump campaign” is “nothing more than fiction coming from people jealous of the close relationship Charlie has built with our family.”

However, the report notes that several Trump allies have brought their concerns about Kirk to Trump. Pastor Darrell Scott, a longtime Trump backer, went on the record with his criticism of Kirk.

“I’ve got to say, racism is like the word ‘ugly,’” he told NBC. “I can’t always describe it, but I know it when I see it. That boy’s a racist right there.”
