On Tuesday morning, President Donald Trump opened fire on Republican billionaire donors the Charles and David Koch, blasting them as “globalists” with bad ideas. He called them a “total joke” and said he has “beaten them at every turn.”

“The globalist Koch Brothers, who have become a total joke in real Republican circles,” he tweeted. The Kochs are major Republican donors, not just to candidates but funding organizations like the massive Americans for Prosperity and others. “They love my Tax & Regulation Cuts, Judicial picks & more. I made…..”

“I made…them richer,” he continued in a second tweet. “Their network is highly overrated, I have beaten them at every turn. They want to protect their companies outside the U.S. from being taxed, I’m for America First & the American Worker – a puppet for no one.”

This comes after the Koch network has opposed Trump’s trade policy, and won’t be supporting some Trump-aligned candidates this fall.

HuffPo says Kimberly’s team has tried to make it seem like she left because she wanted to campaign with the Trumps, but a source said that’s a load of BS since she previously claimed she wouldn’t work for the administration because Fox News pays big bucks, and she’s a single mother. HuffPo claims she didn’t leave Fox News on her own. The network reportedly launched a year-long investigation into what Kimberly was up to, and found that she showed her co-workers dick pics, told them whose dick pics it was, regularly talked about her sex life, and emotionally abused the hair and makeup people. Kimberly is also accused of making co-workers go blind from pointing out that a dick pic on her phone belonged to Don Jr. No, that didn’t happen. That we know of.

According to sources, Guilfoyle was the subject of a human resources investigation that started last year and involved interviews with Fox News employees, including hair and makeup artists and producers. Sources said HR warned Guilfoyle about her behavior several times, including a stern warning from Kevin Lord, the head of Fox News HR, in the fall of 2017. HuffPost also began investigating Guilfoyle’s workplace conduct last year.

Kimberly’s lawyer denied what HuffPo laid down:

As it turns out, Wilmer Valderrama’s hospital visits to see Demi Lovato haven’t been a one or two time thing. According to People, Demi Lovato is still in the hospital after her suspected drug overdose last week, and she’s reportedly got her own Wilmer Nightingale constantly at her bedside.

It was reported a few days after Demi was checked into the hospital six days ago, that she would most likely stay there until she was moved directly to a rehab center. It wasn’t known when Demi would go to rehab, but UsWeekly says that she’s still in the hospital. According to TMZ, the reason why Demi hasn’t left the hospital yet is because there have been some complications with her recovery. According to sources, Demi has been suffering from a list of ailments, including “extreme nausea” and a high fever. Apparently those are all side-effects from the alleged overdose, of which drug we’re still not entirely sure caused it. While she’s in there, she’s got plenty of company, thanks to her ex-boyfriend.

Waking up from a 2pm hospital nap, looking at the end of your bed and discovering not a television playing Maury, but the guy you broke up with two years ago staring back at you with a teddy bear from the gift shop sounds like my personal nightmare. Not Demi though, because she keeps letting him back day for repeat visits.

“Wilmer has spent hours at the hospital with Demi every day,” says a second source. “He seems very concerned about her.”

The source says that Wilmer has been seen “multiple times” since Demi was checked in last Tuesday morning. Another source says that this has been “heartbreaking” for Wilmer, who remained friends with Demi after they broke up, and that he’s been “her rock” through some of the darker moments in her past. It sounds like Wilmer is just being a good friend. Or maybe there are ulterior motives:

“Demi always hoped they would end up back together in the future,” the source continued. “He’s the love of her life and vice versa.”

Before Demi allows the human equivalent of a late-night DM slide back into her life, she might want to test Wilmer first. Just to make sure of his commitment to her. And what better way than to request he stay overnight in the hospital with her, sleeping in a sideways position in an extremely uncomfortable pleather hospital chair. I hate to say it, but even Wilmer gets upgraded to keeper status if he’s able to do six hours in one of those things.

MTV released the first teaser trailer for Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming reality series, Lohan Beach Club. I can’t believe all those people in the background, reading their phones and acting like they don’t care about the reality TV history being made around them.

Because it’s a teaser trailer, you don’t get to see too much of what Lohan Beach Club is all about. You see Lohan. She’s on a beach. Around the 0:05 mark, you see her looking like she just woke up at the club after passing out the night before and sleeping on a pile of dirty towels. Lindsay opens the trailer by instructing everyone to “Pack your bags.” Since it’s Lindsay, it probably would have been a good idea for her to be specific. “And I’m not talking about the little tiny plastic zip-top ones that you get from your…you know what? My lawyer has advised I not get more specific than that.”

Lohan Beach Club has been pitched as sort of a Vanderpump Rules in Mykonos, Greece. According to a press release sent out by MTV, it will feature Lindsay and her staff “establishing new friendships and alliances while striving to rise above the temptations the Mykonos nightlife scene has to offer.” We also know, thanks to a call placed by Dina Lohan to UsWeekly, that Lindsay’s siblings 22-year-old Cody Lohan and 24-year-old Ali Lohan will both make an appearance on Lohan Beach Club. Ali will reportedly sing the theme song to the show.

Dina also wishes the “bottom feeders” would stop making fun of Lindsay’s weird Euro-accent, adding that their family tries to “go to the light” and ignore it.

Everyone seems so happy for Lindsay’s comeback, including her former friend and current arch nemesi, Paris Hilton. Paris was recently asked about calling Lindsay a “pathological liar” on Instagram by E! News, which Paris stated she was “just stating a fact.” Then Paris was asked if she had any advice for Lindsay regarding her upcoming reality show, and Paris responded:

“Good luck to her, I wish her the best.”

That’s…obviously not true. Are we sure Paris wasn’t talking about herself when she made that pathological liar comment? Or maybe “the best” is the nickname for some kind of new STI I’ve not yet heard about. I’m sure Paris will elaborate the next time someone is kind enough to ask her about Lindsay.

Kim Kardashian West expressed her gratitude to President Donald Trump for commuting the sentence of Alice Marie Johnson last month.

The reality star became an advocate for Johnson when she came across her story on Twitter about how she had been serving a life sentence for 22 years for a first-time nonviolent drug offense and successfully used her stardom to spread awareness and landed a meeting with the president at the White House.

“I walk in and I’m like- I look around and I’m kind of starstruck by the Oval Office and the first thing I say in our meeting, I say, ‘Holy sh*t. We’re in the f**king Oval Office,'” Kardashian told Jimmy Kimmel. “That’s what I said to him. That was the first thing I said. And I had to take a moment to be like, ‘Wait, we’re really here.”

After Kimmel joked that it’s “especially weird” that Trump is in the Oval Office, Kardashian said that she was “very grateful” and “very hopeful” that “more good things are gonna come out” of their conversations.

“Do you have a list now of people you might ask him to release from prison?” Kimmel asked.

“I do,” she responded.

“Is Melania on it?” Kimmel joked.

She then dished about the phone call she received from the president while she was doing a photoshoot naked.

“My phone rings and I’m all glammed up and I’m like, ‘Get me a robe!'” Kardashian said.

“Did the president know you were just in a robe and nothing else,” Kimmel later asked. “Because he probably would have released the whole prison if you told him that.”

Kimmel then questioned her about her husband Kanye West‘s support for Trump, but when asked if the two of them argue about politics, Kim Kardashian responded by saying she “always respects what a person thinks” and that while he doesn’t “necessarily agree with the policies,” he likes Trump’s personality and how he became president when “everybody underestimated him.”

“I have nothing bad to say about the president,” she continued. “He has done something amazing.”

MSNBC journalist Andrea Mitchell stopped by The Daily Show and weighed in on President Donald Trump‘s treatment of the media.

After congratulating her for her 40 years in journalism, Trevor Noah began by asking her if covering the Trump presidency “that different” from everything America has experienced before.

“Absolutely. Very different.” Mitchell firmly answered. “I mean, the first president in modern history who has no government or military experience. So there’s that.”

When pressed on the “adversarial relationship” Trump has with the press, Mitchell said he’s “more accessible” where he will “answer questions on the fly,” but has fewer press conferences and press briefings at the White House, insisting that “things have been turned upside down.”

“The reality is completely different… Facts don’t seem to matter anymore, which is a problem,” Mitchell told Noah. “Plus no one else can really speak for him. The fact that he’s on social media, that he is so active on Twitter and those are official archival records, presidential records, he is making news through social media in a way that no prior president ever did.”

While she refuted Noah’s assertion that Trump’s hostility towards the press was connected to the motivated Capital Gazette shooting in Annapolis, she believed Trump “deliberately” presented the media as the “enemy of the people.”

“This is something that we first heard from Joseph Stalin. This is very dangerous. It undercuts democracy,” Mitchell continued. “And for years and years, I’ve covered the State Department where we’ve tried to teach and help, advocate with new democracies how to train journalists and how we do journalism. Secretaries of State travel all over the world and deliberately, until more recently, deliberately go to Beijing, go to Turkey, go to Moscow, have press conferences, even if the host country will not, to show dictators that this is what the First Amendment means. It’s very, very important. It is our value system, and I do think that, by talking about fake news- fake news is what Russia did to our election, the propaganda that we see from Russia invading our social media — invading our social media, to say nothing to have the hacking. That’s fake news. Propaganda is fake news, not what my colleagues at the White House and covering other beats in Washington do every day, sometimes around the world at great peril to their lives.”

On Monday night, Stephen Colbert tackled the sexual misconduct allegations against CBS CEO Les Moonves made public last week, someone he hoped wasn’t watching his monologue.

Colbert literally had a spit take in reaction to Ronan Farrow being the author of the New Yorker bombshell report published about the CBS chief, who was accused by six women of sexual harassment and assault.

“That’s not good!” Colbert exclaimed. “Ronan isn’t exactly known for his puff pieces about glamping.”

He then showed a news clip covering the exposé, which include how his alleged victims called Moonves inappropriately touching them was a “practiced routine.”

“Well, you know the old saying: How do you get in a Ronan Farrow article? Practice, practice, practice,” Colbert quipped. “I’ll have some more to say about this over there at the desk later, assuming we make it past the commercial break…”

The Late Show host did indeed return from the commercial break and had a more serious tone at the desk, acknowledging that “we’re coming up on one year of general awareness of the #MeToo movement” after the downfall of Harvey Weinstein.

“Women over the past year have felt empowered to tell their stories in ways they haven’t before, which is an objectively good thing. Because, and it’s strange to have to say this, powerful men taking sexual advantage of relatively powerless employees are wrong. We know it’s wrong now and we knew it was wrong then,” Colbert told his audience. “And how do we know we knew it was wrong? Because we know these men tried to keep the stories from coming out back then.”

Colbert called the accusations made against various figures in the entertainment industry “shocking” to him but have brought a “welcomed sense of relief” for many women.

“But this weekend some people asked me, probably ’cause I work here, ‘What do you think is going to happen?’ I don’t know,” Colbert admitted. “Over the past year, there’s been a lot of discussion about whether the disappearing of the accused from public life is the right thing to do, and I get there should be levels of response, but I understand why the disappearing happens. Cause there’s a J.F.K. quote that I like and I cite a fair amount on this show and it’s that “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable.” And for so long for women in the workplace, there was no change, no justice for the abused, so we shouldn’t be surprised that when the change comes, it comes radically. This roar is a natural backlash to all that silence.”

“So I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I do believe in accountability. And not just for politicians you disagree with,” Colbert continued. “Everybody believes in accountability until it’s their guy. And make no mistake, Les Moonves is my guy. He hired me to sit in this chair. He stood behind this show while we were struggling to find  our voice. He gave us the time and the resources to succeed. And he has stood by us when people were mad at me. And I like working for him, but accountability is meaningless unless it’s for everybody. Whether it’s for the leader of a network or the leader of the free world.”

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro appeared on The Ingraham Angle and took on the “elitists” who are out of touch with Middle America.

Laura Ingraham began by citing an op-ed from a “liberal” journalist at the Chicago Sun-Times who after attending a steel workers rally in Illinois last week was convinced that President Donald Trump was going to be re-elected in 2020 because of his appeal and that Democrats “don’t have anyone who can touch him.”

Ingraham called that an “honest liberal view” while Shapiro thought the ongoing “culture war” in this country is between “the elitists” and everyone else.

“People who think that jobs being lost at the New York Daily News is a national tragedy, but jobs being lost in the steel industry is totally fine because those are a bunch of rubes in the rust belt anyway,” Shapiro elaborated. “What President Trump does better than virtually any other politician on the American scene is he conveys that he really does care about people who are in these industries, the people who are doing the so-called “dirty jobs” that people on the coast tend to think on the illegal immigrants are willing to do.”

The Fox News host later pivoted to the “opposite” of the Sun-Times op-ed to one from The New York Times imagining Trump’s reelection defeat in 2020 to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).

“They are hoping obviously that 2016 was an outlier and they’re going to blame it on anything,” Shapiro reacted. “They’ll blame it on Hillary Clinton being a bad candidate finally or Russian collusion, which they have yet to prove. But what they won’t acknowledge is that there is a systemic problem inside the Democratic Party and screaming ‘Medicare for all’ in running Hillary Clinton clone like Elizabeth Warren is not going to fix a giant gap that they have with them at all the country who may still consider a bunch of bitter clingers working jobs they would never deign to get their hands dirty doing.”

The Daily Wire editor-in-chief then admitted that he himself was part of “the elite” since he’s from L.A and spent time in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

“I am an elite, by any of these standards,” Shapiro continued. “But the bottom line is that the people in the middle of the country are doing work that is as important or more important than the people on the coast, who are sitting in their coffee houses writing scripts.”

Ingraham defended Shapiro, insisting he wasn’t part of “the elite” since “understands the plight of the regular working person,” to which he clarified that he’s part of “the elite” but not an “elitist.”

On Monday night, CNN’s Don Lemon went after Laura Ingraham and other Donald Trump defenders for their flat-out dismissal of any conversation that touches upon race issues.

Much of Lemon’s show revolved around an interview he conducted earlier Monday with Lebron James — during which the NBA star spoke a about his reasons for being more outspoken with his political views. At one point, James accused Trump of using sports as a subtle way to divide Americans with race.

As Lemon talked about James’ comments with his panel, he brought up the infamous moment from several months back when Fox News’ Ingraham said James should “shut up and dribble” instead of talking politics. Lemon reacted to this with “who the-.” But he caught himself quickly, explaining “I almost said a bad word.”

“Who does she think she is to talk to someone like that?” Lemon asked incredulously.

Later on, Lemon brought up more comments from James as he held a panel discussion about racial issues in America. Lemon addressed critics who don’t want to hold any conversations about the subject, but would rather fling accusations of “race-baiting” at those who do.

“I know people watch and they say ‘Why are you guys talking about race? You’re race-baiting. It’s not that bad’…It is that bad, and stop saying that. Start examining yourself. Why don’t you want to talk about it? Maybe I should be more open to talk about it. Maybe I should learn more about my neighbors of color or people who are not like me. What is it that I don’t know? What is it that I’m not exposed to? What am I not learning rather than every single time saying ‘there is no racism. It’s all behind us. Slavery was a long time ago.’ That’s all really bullshit if you’re watching at home and saying that.”

Here’s a stunning turn that would have been impossible to even fathom as recently as two years ago. A Fox News primetime host spent an entire opening monologue railing against the Koch brothers.

Monday night on The Ingraham Angle, host Laura Ingraham tore into the Kochs for breaking with President Donald Trump on the issue of tariffs. Ingraham lumped the Kochs together with former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over their support of the “job and sovereignty-killing” Trans-Pacific Partnership.

“The Koch network and others talk a good game about unity, embracing change, and seizing opportunities,” she said. “But when a president comes along who’s actually embracing a new path, something different, on behalf of the American people, ‘Let’s try a new thing now,’ the Kochs and the globalists just have their blinders on. They won’t have any of it.”

Ingraham suggested that the Kochs may not be enamored with the idea that they are no longer public enemy No. 1 on the left, now that Trump is in the White House.

“The left has a new enemy,” Ingraham said. “It is Trump. And they are resisting him at every turn. Sadly, the Kochs are too often joining in their ranks.”

Rudy Giuliani topped off his Monday media blitz by giving an interview to Sean Hannity — proclaiming that the Trump Administration has no obligation to cooperate with Robert Mueller.

Giuliani began by once again denying what he alluded to today about President Donald Trump being involved in a possible second Donald Trump Jr. Trump Tower meeting.

“It’s highly unlikely, I always have to leave the option open as a lawyer in case they comes across something that really startles us,” Giuliani said. “I believe we are coming toward the end, so I’m talking to some of the people that formed the original part of the investigation. I thank John Dowd for all the cooperation he gave them because that puts us in a position where we don’t have to cooperate.”

Giuliani mocked the idea that Trump will be impeached on the basis of his tweets, alluding to recent reports that Mueller is incorporating the president’s tweets into his obstruction of justice investigation. Hannity suggested that Giuliani could allow Mueller to ask Trump some limited questions about collusion, though the former New York mayor-turned-Trump attorney swatted that idea down.

“I don’t want to give a false impression. Given the revelation of the last three or four weeks, we’ve gone further away from the idea of answering any questions from them. We don’t think we have a legitimate investigation.”

Tucker Carlson interviewed Cesar Vargas on Monday in what became a rowdy back-and-forth on immigration that concluded with the Fox News host telling Vargas — who has a green card — that he is in the U.S. illegally, before suggesting that he could reported or “taken out by force.”

Vargas, an undocumented immigrant who recently earned his green card and works as a lawyer in New York, began by addressing the news that Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney announced that his city was terminating a major database agreement with ICE. The discussion eventually turned to President Donald Trump‘s election in 2016, so naturally Carlson amped up the snark and told Vargas “Let me explain our system to you because I know you are here illegally.”

As Vargas argued that ICE will still have access to the information they need to target criminal aliens, he and Carlson went back and forth over whether the news out of Philly violates the law. This segued into a debate over whether undocumented immigrants are entitled to constitutional rights, during which Carlson told Vargas “don’t lecture me” and “don’t hit me with the ‘race’ crap.”

“You’re here illegally!” Carlson said. “I don’t know what ‘chutzpah’ is in Spanish but for you sitting here illegally, and we’re not reporting you or having you taken out by force…”

Vargas informed Carlson that he has a green card, and the Fox News host told him “mazel tov.”

“We all are Americans,” Vargas said.

“No you’re not actually, you’re a Mexican,” Carlson shot back. “Citizen, I believe.”

“A Mexican-American,” Vargas said.

Tucker Carlson railed against Democrats again on his show tonight — this time by mocking them for standing up for the dignity of porn stars like Stormy Daniels.

Carlson began his show with a monologue about how “Trump Derangement Syndrome” has grown so severe around the country that the president’s opponents have all pretty much decided that anything Trump supports must be immoral and wrong. To make his point, Carlson brought up Daniels to make a point of how Trump’s critics have defended her from those questioning her story.

“And then there is Stormy Daniels. Even on the far left, hard-core pornography was not considered an ideal career for your daughter. Then Daniels and her creepy cable-friendly lawyer emerged, and now Daniels is touted by the Left as some sort of civil rights hero. When Rudy Giuliani doubted her credibility, he was blasted for impugning the respectability of women who have with strangers on camera for pay.”

No comment though on how Trump allegedly cheated on his current wife to have an affair with Daniels, nor the commotion thats been caused ever since it was revealed that Michael Cohen secretly paid off Daniels (and possibly other women) in exchange for silence.

LeBron James, one of the world’s most prominent athletes, believes President Donald Trump is using sports to try to divide Americans.

In an interview with Don Lemon (which is slated to air in full on CNN Monday night), the three-time NBA champion who recently signed with the Los Angeles Lakers stated his belief that the president is using athletics to divide Americans.

“We are in a position right now in America…where this race thing has taken over,” James said. “Because I believe our president is kind of trying to divide us.”

Lemon interjected.

“Kind of?” The CNN anchor said.

“Is,” James said, taking Lemon’s point. “I don’t want to say kind of.”

He added, “What I’ve noticed over the last few months is he’s kind of used sport to divide us.”

James didn’t mention any specifics but was more than likely alluding to the President’s outspoken opposition to NFL players kneeling during the National Anthem in protest of racial and social injustice — as well as his attacks on championship teams and athletes who decline to visit the White House as has been recent custom.

The Five held a conversation on Monday oabout President Donald Trump‘s demands that Congress throw support behind an omnibus bill that will provide funding for tougher immigration policies. When Greg Gutfeld argued that Trump has used the wall as an idea to spark more conversation about border security, Juan Williams countered by arguing that Trump wants to stop immigration altogether, both legal and illegal.

That’s when Jesse Watters made this statement:

“He wants merit-based,” said Watters. “That would cut legal immigration by bringing in the best and brightest. So we don’t bring in some guy’s uncle from Zimbabwe.”

Williams sarcastically thanked Watters for clarifying he wasn’t talking about immigrants from other places like Thailand or Norway.

A new report indicates that North Korea is building new possible intercontinental ballistic missiles despite Kim Jong Un‘s denuclearization agreement from his summit with President Donald Trump.

The Washington Post spoke to multiple intelligence officials who have monitored “ongoing activity” recently from North Korea’s nuclear and missile testing facilities. Satellite images and previous reports about a secret uranium enrichment facility suggest that the North Koreans are upgrading their arsenal from a research facility located just outside of Pyongyang.

Ever since the summit in Singapore, President Trump and his administration have touted the agreement he signed with Kim — even though it didn’t spell out any kind of specific framework or plan for Korean Peninsula’s disarmament. Recent photos suggested the North Koreans were in the process of dismantling a test engine stand at a satellite launching station, but various analysts warn the gesture is mostly symbolic since tests there were already complete.

Furthermore, new evidence shows ongoing construction at missile factories, including advancements on ICBMs capable of hitting the U.S. East Coast.

Senior North Korean officials have discussed their intention to deceive Washington about the number of nuclear warheads and missiles they have, as well as the types and numbers of facilities, and to rebuff international inspectors, according to intelligence gathered by U.S. agencies. Their strategy includes potentially asserting that they have fully denuclearized by declaring and disposing of 20 warheads while retaining dozens more.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recently travelled to Pyongyang to advance denuclearization talks, but he told the Senate testimony in a hearing last week that the North Koreans are still producing materials essential for nuclear weapon construction. As for Trump, he recently said there’s no deadline for North Korea’s denuclearization.

Fox Business’ Lou Dobbs raged at Robert Mueller again tonight in a segment blasting the special counsel’s office for the ongoing Russia probe.

Former Deputy Attorney General Tom Dupree offered a more analytical take on the issues at play here, including whether Mueller will ultimately have anything directly connecting to the President.

But Dobbs spent the entire interview angrily going after Mueller, accusing him of going on a “jihad” against Trump, suggesting there should be “legal action against Robert Mueller,” and saying Trump is being “persecuted.”

He said, “The default here is instead of being persecuted by a damn special counsel––and excuse me for swearing, but I am so frustrated and annoyed and disgusted with this entire process and the cowards, the cowardly fools in the leadership of our Congress and our Senate who have permitted this to go on.”

When Dupree said Trump may be cleared when Mueller wrapped in a few months, Dobbs cried, “Wrap it up in a few months? How about in a few hours? There’s nothing there!”

Dupree was starting to talk about seeing what happens if “Mueller gets what he wants” (i.e. an interview with Trump) when Dobbs exploded again:

“The hell with Mueller! Tom, the hell with what he wants! This is not a game! This is the President of the United States. This nation deserves full-time leadership and no further effort to subvert, to overthrow the presidency of Donald J. Trump. It’s ignorant and it’s stupid beyond belief that our ideologically committed left-wing national media can’t even bring itself to be honest about what is happening every day in front of them and indeed the country.”

After President Donald Trump tweeted about his off-the-record meeting with New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger over the weekend, the Times felt free to report on the details of the meeting.

But should the Grey Lady even have felt constrained by the traditional rules governing off-the-record conversation?

Appearing on S.E. Cupp Unfiltered Monday, Mediaite Editor at Large Colby Hall mocked the Trump administration for expecting the media to honor traditional norms when they’ve made a habit of shattering them.

“I would say…this president flouts all decorum,” Hall said. “We’re in a brave new world where standard capital J Journalistic standards are not necessarily as applicable as they’ve been in the past. Because you have a president asking for, and expecting decorum, say in the White House — with questions being tossed to them that they don’t like. But at the same time, tweeting awful and personal criticisms of, sadly, mostly female journalists.”

Hall added, “If you’re not going to abide by the social contract, or the decorum of journalistic standards, then you can’t expect the other side of that agreement to.”

He laid out his reasons for deciding to back Kavanaugh earlier:

HLN’s S.E. Cupp is warning political observers to be leery of anything Michael Cohen, Rudy Giuliani and Donald Trump have to say as they wage war on one another.

As part of her opening monologue on Monday night’s Unfiltered, the HLN host recapped the latest revelations from Cohen — noting that he’s come a long way from the days where he professed his absolute loyalty to the president. Cupp then pointed to Giuliani’s Monday media blitz as evidence that the president and his allies are now willing to rip Cohen apart as fiercely as they would any of Trump’s longtime critics.

With so much confusion generated by the three way dynamic between Trump, Giuliani and Cohen, Cupp had a simple answer on who people should side with and trust in this fight: “No one.”

“Michael Cohen is a bully and a liar. Rudy Giuliani is a bully and a liar. President Trump is a bully and a liar. Not surprised these guys are fighting, but whatever you think of the Mueller investigation, and you could believe it’s time to wrap it up, no one is alleging that Robert Mueller is a bully and a liar except for these three bullies and liars.”

“Rudy is off the leash today,” said Jesse Watters, Monday.

And so began The Five‘s analysis of Rudy Giuliani‘s latest bonkers media tour. As part of that media tour, President Donald Trump‘s current lawyer called his former lawyer — Michael Cohen — a scumbag.

You would be forgiven for thinking that this type of name calling is more commonplace on the classic HBO mob drama The Sopranos. And you would have an ally in The Five‘s Greg Gutfeld.

“This is part of the package you get from Queens,” Gutfeld said. “Trump is from Queens. Nothing goes down without a fight. Nothing goes down without name calling. This is not Brentwood, Bel Air, or Madison, WI. These are New Yorkers. You got Giuliani. You got Trump. And Michael Cohen. The streets of New York and New Jersey.

“We are now watching an ongoing episode of The Sopranos.”

“Wow,” Juan Williams said. “Did you mean that as a compliment?”

“Yes,” Gutfeld said, laughing.

One wonders if a meeting at the Bing is too far in the offing…

So Rudy Giuliani‘s having a day.

In the span of a few hours he randomly brought up this idea of a second meeting that Trump wasn’t in but also the meeting never happened and there were specific people who were or were not at this hypothetical meeting and…

Okay, look, even Fox News is confused.

Katy Tur and her MTP Daily panel tried to make sense of Giuliani’s media clusterf*ck today.

Susan Del Percio said that if Giuliani is doing this, “they have a reason to be afraid” and are trying to muddy the waters.

Tur compared today’s weirdness of denying things that no one was bringing up to asking someone “Do you like hamburgers?” and them responding “I didn’t rob the bank!”

“I would say ‘Oh my God, did you rob a bank?'” Tur noted.

Zerlina Maxwell noted the shifting narrative here and the clear push for a PR win.

Politico’s Jake Sherman asked if this is supposed to be a strategy “or this is just Rudy Giuliani speaking.”

“Rudy Giuliani is acting a bit like a squirming coil,” Tur said. “He’s just going all over the place. He is saying Donald Trump didn’t hack the DNC. Well, no one ever claimed that he hacked the DNC. He’s also saying that Donald Trump didn’t attend the meeting with Russians.”

And on top of ALL THAT, Giuliani let the phrase “the Russia transaction” slip this morning. Tur bewilderedly asked, “What Russia transaction? Is there a transaction?!”

She raised the question of what Congress is going to have to do here with all these contradictions and questions about who’s been lying.

As for this confusion about a second meeting that Giuliani himself disclosed and then walked back, Tur said, “He says there’s a real meeting on CNN and then a couple of hours later, four hours later, he says that meeting never took place. Is Rudy Giuliani, um––what’s he doing? Is he actually acting as the president’s lawyer here or what is going on? Did somebody get to him and say, ‘Oh, wait, no, no, no, you misspoke’ or ‘We’re not telling anyone about that yet’?”

She even asked, “If people are confused, is Giuliani winning?”

The New York Times editorial team is apparently trying to get ahead of the game, based on two opposing columns they recently released with projections on how Donald Trump will win or lose re-election in 2020.

Last week, Bret Stephens envisioned a scenario where Trump will defeat Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) in a 2020 contest where he wins all the states he took in 2016, plus Nevada. Stephens imagines that the president will lose the popular vote again, but will still hold onto the Oval Office because Democrats were never able to dispel the illusion of Trump’s economic successes.

From the piece:

In exit poll interviews, Mr. Trump’s supporters frequently cited the state of the economy to explain their vote. “What part of Dow 30,000 do the liberals not understand?” Kevin O’Reilly of Manchester, N.H., told The Times.

The column goes on to say that the Left will keep pointing to arguments of Trump’s moral and intellectual inadequacy for the White House, and won’t do enough to highlight the negative, recurring issues his policies have caused for the economy. Stephens also hypothesizes that Democrats will continue to embrace polarizing ideas like abolishing ICE while investing too much capital into Robert Mueller‘s investigation, which won’t explicitly prove Trump’s collusion with Russia.

In another look at the world-to-be, David Leonhardt brought readers into a parallel universe where Trump’s numerous scandals, controversies and political fights finally take their toll on the president. In this situation, Trump hangs onto support from most of the Republican Party, but others grow disillusioned with Trump and support Warren after economic growth fails to translate into income gains.

From the piece, note that it uses the same hypothetical voter as the Stephens bit:

“Trump said he was going to fix things, and he didn’t,” said Kevin O’Reilly, 54, of Manchester, N.H., who voted for Barack Obama in 2012, Trump in 2016 and Warren this year. “I don’t think he really cares about the middle class. He cares about himself.”

In this case, Warren will win the presidency after convincing voters that she understands the political aspects of their problems better than Trump does. Her campaign will carry her to the presidency through a combination of popular Democratic platforms, her depiction of Trump as a selfish oligarch, and her avoidance of getting involved in culture wars like NFL anthem-kneelers.
