Conservative commentator Ann Coulter shocked Real Time host Bill Maher during a Friday episode when she offered theory on why she knows it wasn’t “a white male” shooter in the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Parade shooting.

Coulter joined commentator and pundit Van Jones as guests on the latest episode of HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher on Friday, during which they discussed guns and gun laws while talking about the shooting at the parade.

During that conversation, Coulter claimed the public would already know the identity of the shooter or shooters in the horrific incidedent “if it were a white male.”

The shooting earlier this week left a mother of two dead and 22 others, mostly kids, injured. According to the Associated Press, two people remain in critical condition while one victim was in serious condition.

As they were talking about ways to stop these types of incidents, Maher noted that “we don’t know who did this shooting,” prompting Coulter to interrupt.

“We have some idea,” she said. After Maher paused and said, “what?” Coulter continued.

” If it were a white man shooting, we’d know,” she said, prompting a brief exchange.

MAHER: I mean, we don’t know who did this shooting, by the way, the Super Bowl.

COULTER: We have some idea.

MAHER: What?

COULTER: If it were a white man shooting, we’d know.

MAHER: Well we don’t know. I mean they haven’t —

COULTER: That’s how we know it’s not a white man. I can tell you that much.

MAHER: You think they were repressing that reporting?

COULTER: They wouldn’t tell us about the, transgender woman that shot up the Christian school for, what, like a year? Oh, San Bernardino out here. Remember the crazy terrorist Muslims? That’s when I first noticed. Hm, they’re not telling us who it is. It’s not a white male.

The longer they go without telling you, it’s not a white male.

MAHER: Well for this one, for right now, as of Friday night, February 16th…

COULTER: We know.

MAHER: We don’t officially know. Okay, you know, you have special powers.

COULTER: We’ll see.

Kansas City police have charged two juveniles in connection with the deadly shooting with gun related and resisting arrest charges. The suspects remain unidentified.
