Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) pulled no punches on Wednesday during a House Oversight Committee hearing as he responded to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) — who spoke before him.

“Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Before I get into it, it’s interesting to hear my colleague just now talk about disavowing white supremacists,” began Frost, one of the youngest people ever elected to the House.

“When in 2022 she spoke at an event led by white supremacists and white nationalist Nick Fuentes, and when asked about it, doubled down on it and said, we’re going to focus on people, not labels. So get out of here with that damn hypocrisy,” Frost concluded.

Frost referenced Greene’s appearance at avowed neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes’s America First Political Action Conference in February 2022. Greene and Fuentes briefly shared the stage as she addressed the gathering. Fuentes used his time on stage praising Vladimir Putin and referring to Adolf Hitler as a positive historical figure. “Now they’re going on about Russia and Vladimir Putin is Hitler they say that’s not a good thing,” Fuentes told the cheering crowd.

Greene later claimed she was unaware of who Fuentes was and his long history of bigotry, which includes Holocaust denial and calling for the execution of non-Christians.

Frost launched his heated attack on Greene during a hearing titled, “Defending America from the Chinese Communist Party’s Political Warfare, Part I,” which also included some tense exchanges between to committee’s top members, Reps. James Comer (R-KY) and Jamie Raskin (D-MD). Raskin and Comer, sitting next to each other, sparred over the lack of evidence in the GOP-led impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
