Fox News’ Gutfeld: Trump’s a ‘Cable Talk Show Host That Became President’
The hosts of Fox News’ The Five talked about President Donald Trump‘s latest rally and the topics he sounded off on in Indiana.
That included him going after the DOJ and FBI, saying, “Our Justice Department and our FBI have to start doing their jobs and doing it right and doing it now, because people are angry. People are angry… What’s happening is a disgrace, and at some point — I wanted to stay out, but at some point, if it doesn’t straighten out properly — I want them to do their jobs — I will get involved.”
Jedediah Bila said it’s “refreshing” for her to see “a Republican that does these well,” especially after seeing so many Republicans with communications issues. She added that it’s good he’s not “afraid” to “bring up controversial things.”
Mark Steyn praised Trump’s style too, to which Greg Gutfeld said, “He is a cable talk show host that became President, okay? Let’s be clear. That’s why he’s good at it, that’s why it’s new.”
He said Trump’s rallies are his way of getting around the media, though he did admit at one point he’s a little “rallied out” (explaining “he needs to mix it up”).
