Biden Chalks Out Hard in His March Madness Bracket, Picks Extremely Trendy Final Four

If the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament goes as President Joe Biden predicted, fans could be in for one of the least surprising tournaments in the sport’s history.

The president on Wednesday revealed his picks for the upcoming tournament. In addition to having three of the four no. 1 seeds making the Final Four — Houston, Connecticut, and North Carolina — Biden has UConn winning it all to repeat as national champions. The president does have Midwest top seed Purdue falling to fourth-seeded Kansas, though.

Aside from that, however, the bracket has very few major upsets. In South bracket, Biden has no. 11 North Carolina State beating Texas Tech. In the Midwest, Biden predicted that 12th-seeded McNeese will beat fifth-seeded Gonzaga. He also has no. 13 Charleston taking down no. 4 Alabama and no. 11 New Mexico over no. 6 Clemson.

Biden doesn’t see a Cinderella story from any of the bottom seeds this year.

Also, as noted by one user online, Biden didn’t take the opportunity to win over any swing states with his picks.

The bracket was also described as a “coward’s” bracket and some used it to take shots at his presidency.
