CNN anchor Chris Wallace asked his panel a question that’s already cost former President Donald Trump’s $15,000: “Should judges gag Donald Trump? ”

Journalists Kristen Soltis Anderson, Lulu Garcia-Navarro, Reihan Salam, and Kara Swisher joined Wallace for the debut edition of CNN’s The Chris Wallace Show on Saturday morning in what Wallace has described as a McLaughlin Group-esque news panel show.

Wallace and co. went over a raft of Trump legal news, including gag orders which, in the case of the New York fraud trial, have already cost Trump $15 grand as an appeals court considers overturning the gag order imposed by Judge Tanya Chutkan:

CHRIS WALLACE: Another issue, and that is the gag orders. There were two gag orders. One of them has now been frozen by a federal appeals court. But but these are judges imposing gag orders because of things that Donald Trump has said about prosecutors, about witnesses, about court staff. Here is how this became an issue. Take a look.

DONALD TRUMP: Deranged. Jack Smith says they looked around to see the picture with the purple robe is a deranged human being, as this judge is a very partizan judge with a person who’s very partizan sitting alongside and perhaps even much more partizan than he is. I don’t know about Mike Pence, who should endorsed me. I chose him, made him vice president. But people people in politics can be very disloyal.

CHRIS WALLACE: Kara, should judges gag Donald Trump? Can judges gag Donald Trump?

KARA SWISHER: NO! I mean he that the thing is he he’s perfect. He’s shameless. If you have no shame, you can do it. They’ve got to execute and and and hold him to account. And they’re not going to do that. And so he knows that. And so it’s like saying to a lion, “Do not touch that gazelle over there! Do not, do not.”.

And he just does it. And then they have to do something about it.

CHRIS WALLACE: I think he’d actually like that analog. The lion and the gazelle…
