Police confirmed the crash but offered few details.

Portland’s ABC affiliate reported a small plane crashed in a neighborhood in the community of Fairview. It was unclear as of the time of publication if anyone was killed. The outlet reported:
Gresham Fire, Portland Fire, Portland Airport Fire and the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office have responded to the scene. The Port of Portland issued a statement Saturday morning: “Around 10:20 a.m. today, a small general aviation aircraft crashed near the Troutdale Airport. Port of Portland Fire has sent a crash vehicle and battalion chief for support at the scene, and the Gresham Fire Department is the agency in charge.”
