Veteran Democratic Party strategist James Carville suggested Jesse Watters should put a tampon in his rectum after the Fox News host criticized Tim Walz for signing a law in Minnesota requiring most school bathrooms in his state to stock tampons.

The 2023 law requires all restrooms in the state that are used by students in fourth grade and up to stock feminine hygiene products. While the law does not specifically call for tampons to be placed in boys’ bathrooms, it does include them.

Walz has been labeled “Tampon Tim” by many conservatives since he was selected as Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate last week. Watters has been among those using the moniker for the Minnesota governor.

On the Politicon YouTube page Thursday, Carville lamented the traction the attacks on Walz had gained and how many people were repeating the claim the governor was giving tampons to elementary school boys.

“Jesse Watters, could you get any bigger than that?” Carville asked. “I don’t know how many people follow him.”

Carville then melted down on Watters and others who had hit Walz over his state’s bathroom law.

“I have a message to Jesse and the whole freak show – is why don’t you take a tampon and shove it right up your ass?!” he said. “Because that’s where it goes. Right up your ass!”

Carville concluded, “Or maybe you could stick it in your mouth! Maybe you could take a used one and stick it in your mouth and suck on it, ’cause that’s what you do. You suck.”

The Minnesota law reads:

A school district or charter school must provide students with access to menstrual products at no charge. The products must be available to all menstruating students in restrooms regularly used by students in grades 4 to 12 according to a plan developed by the school district. For purposes of this section, “menstrual products” means pads, tampons, or other similar products used in connection with the menstrual cycle.
