Rep. Ro Khanna Tells Fox News That Biden’s Low Poll Numbers Will Improve Once Israel-War Ends
Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) claimed that President Joe Biden’s low polling numbers will improve once a permanent ceasefire is negotiated between Israel and Hamas.
In a recent Fox News poll, 53% of registered polls said former President Donald Trump would do a better job than Biden in the White House regarding foreign policy. Approximately 42% of those surveyed said Biden would do a better job than Trump on that specific issue.
However, in every other category, including healthcare, election integrity, climate change, and abortion, Biden maintain a significant lead over Trump. The former president holds a slight lead over Biden in general election polling, according to Real Clear Politics.
Khanna joined Fox News anchor Shannon Bream for an interview on Sunday, reacting to the network’s latest poll. The California lawmaker claimed Biden’s low numbers could change within the next few months.
BREAM: What do you make of that? Americans don’t think he’s managing this well.
KHANNA: I think people realize that there’s a crisis. They see images of, people dying, and they want the war to end. They want Israel to be secure, but they also want Palestinian lives, not to be lost. And I think once the war comes to an end, under the president’s leadership, his numbers will improve, just like his numbers have bounced back on the economy. And in the Bloomberg poll, he’s close the gap in a lot of the swing states.
