Kara Swisher took several shots at Elon Musk when speaking with CNN’s Chris Wallace about advertisers fleeing his social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

On this week’s edition of CNN’s The Chris Wallace Show, the host and anchor asked Swisher how she felt about Musk’s recent profanity-laced remarks about advertisers fleeing the social media platform. She noted that the boycott is happening because Musk refuses to take accountability and is enabled by X CEO Linda Yaccarino.

After Wallace asked Swisher for her “best shot” at Musk, she started by saying, “Well, I’m trying to think of something that so that ‘Space Karen’ doesn’t sue me.”

“So, let me say he’s troubled. I think we all saw that on display. It’s something I’ve been saying for a long time. He’s deluded,” she said. “He doesn’t understand that advertisers don’t get an ROI, which is a return on investment by advertising. He’s is trying to turn it into something else.”

Last month, Musk found himself in controversy when he appeared to endorse a post on X widely seen as anti-Semitic. Earlier this week during an interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin, Musk apologized for his social media comment, but accused advertisers of “blackmail,” adding that they should “go fuck” themselves.

She added, “But, you know, these advertisers are fleeing because of him and he refuses to take blame. So we’ll see. And he is enabled by his CEO, Linda Yaccarino, who keeps supporting this behavior.”

Following Musk’s controversial tweet, the billionaire met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a visit to Israel earlier this week. Musk told Sorkin that he admires Judaism, calling himself “philo-Semitic.”

WALLACE: Kara, your boy, Elon Musk, made a lot of news,.

SWISHER: Not my boy.

WALLACE: Hit me with your best shot.

SWISHER: Well, I’m trying to think of something that. So that “Space Karen” doesn’t sue me. So, let me say he’s troubled. I think we all saw that on display.
