Former and future First Lady Melania Trump gave the Fox & Friends audience the hard sell on her collection of Christmas ornaments last Friday.

The conversation began with co-host Lawrence Jones addressing their guest. “Melania, you got the new season of your ornaments coming out, and this is how you pay for some of these kids’ colleges as well. Tell us about it,” he said.

Earlier in the segment, Trump had mentioned that she designs and sells various “collectibles.”

“With those, I have students from foster community that I sponsor and I’m very proud of,” she explained.

On her website, Trump touts both her collectibles and her Fostering the Future initiative, although they’re not advertised as being tied to one another. In 2022, Trump said that a “portion” of the proceeds for what she sells would go toward the charitable endeavor.

The support team at melaniatrump.com has not yet answered an inquiry about how the proceeds are distributed.

The conversation proceeded like this:

MELANIA TRUMP: So these are the ornaments that are available this season. This is the third season that I design, and they are very special. For example, Lady Liberty, it was inspiration from my necklace that I bought when I was modeling in Paris. And now we have ornament. And we have also a necklace that is available on melaniatrump.com.

AINSLEY EARHARDT: Beautiful.

TRUMP: So I, also this one, it’s the necklace and the inspiration the flower-,

BRIAN KILMEADE: These are awesome! These are fantastic!

TRUMP: And they’re very patriotic this year. As you could see, it’s all red, white, and blue. And I was inspired by that.

LAWRENCE JONES: And they’re different each year, right, Melania? You discontinue them after each Christmas

TRUMP: Correct. They discontinue, they retire, and this is available right now. And it’s a great gift and a great collectible.

EARHARDT: They’re made really well, too.

TRUMP: They’re beautiful.

EARHARDT: They’re beautiful, and you can also go on website and buy the coffee table books. S

TRUMP: Yes.

EARHARDT: So the smaller black book came out a few months ago, but then — still number one, I believe, is has been number one for a very long time — and then the book underneath the white book, which is larger, it has more pictures in it and pictures that you took while you were First Lady. And that’s a great Christmas gift.

JONES: For the coffee table.
