President Donald Trump thanked ICE and celebrated “the Largest Mass Deportation Operation in History” in a social media post for the Fourth of July weekend.

In a post on his Truth Social app on Saturday, Trump praised the passage of his so-called Big Beautiful Bill, which he said will provide “the Funding and Resources” necessary to carry out that deportation operation, and praising immigration officials for their efforts to “reclaim” American sovereignty.

“This July 4th weekend I want to give a big ‘THANK YOU!’ to the Heroic ICE Officers fighting every day to reclaim our Sovereignty and Freedom,” Trump wrote in the Saturday message shared on social media.

“One of the most exciting parts of the ‘ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL ACT‘ is that it includes ALL of the Funding and Resources that ICE needs to carry out the Largest Mass Deportation Operation in History,” Trump wrote.” Our Brave ICE Officers, who are under daily violent assault, will finally have the tools and support that they need.”

“We will not let America become a Third World Country filled with Crime, failing Schools, collapsing Hospitals, and total Social Dysfunction,” Trump continued. “It’s called ‘REMIGRATION’ and, it will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Much of the “Big Beautiful Bill” is popular among GOP members of congress and Republican voters, and although most of the media has focused on criticisms of specific portions, the bill has gained praise from conservative media broadly as well, particularly as it relates to immigration and border enforcement.
