A rapper managed to walk away unscathed this week after a gun apparently went off from his pocket and he nearly shot himself (or someone else) during a live podcast last week.

Texas rapper 2 Low was on the One on OneW/ Mike D podcast where the guest discussed his youthful criminal past – explaining he had learned from a juvenile life of crime and decided to channel his energy into rap music.

The rapper reached into the left pocket of his denim jeans during the conversation before a shot was heard and a muzzle flash was captured from inside of the denim.

“It’s just the mentality that I was in and my heart and love and passion for that type of life,” 2 Low explained. “Shit, I’m back acquainted with what I really love and what I really want to do and what I’m really of about.”

Mike D commented that, in his opinion, many rappers get a taste of money and then go looking for a life of trouble.

“You had a different route,” he said to 2 Low. “You just went back to what you know. You feel what I’m saying?”

The interview was interrupted when the rapper’s pocket went off. Appearing stunned, 2 Low briefly pulled part of what appeared to be a black semiautomatic handgun from his pocket.

Mike D commented, “Who shot who? Somebody got shot.”

He checked on those in the studio as someone exclaimed, “What the fuck!”

“Everybody good?” Mike D pressed before the podcast continued on as normal.

No injuries were reported.
