The President has returned from the summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, which ended abruptly early Thursday morning, and on Thursday night Jimmy Kimmel talked about it in his opening monologue.

“Things seemed to be going smoothly for Trump and Kim, look how much chemistry they have,” said Kimmel, showing a few clips of President Trump walking with Kim Jong Un. He listed the lavish menu items and quipped that he was starting to think “maybe these guys just went over there to eat.”

“Sadly, the meal did not lead to a deal,” he said. “It result in nothing.”

“Trump literally got more done in his summit with Kim Kardashian than Kim Jong un,” said Kimmel. “There’s no agreement, Kim will not give up his nuclear program, Trump comes home tiny empty-handed.”

He played a clip of Trump’s early morning press conference, during which he said “Sometimes you have to walk.”

“That’s right. Sometimes you have to walk,” said Kimmel. “And that’s pretty much all they did, is walk. Look at them.”

“You know, there was a time when Donald Trump wasn’t even able to walk in Vietnam because of his terrible bone spurs, but thank god those healed up,” Kimmel said.
