SNL Skewers Jussie Smollett: ‘What is Wrong With You, Man?’

By News Here - 00:08

Saturday Night Live tackled the Jussie Smollett controversy during their latest show with a sketch that skewered his claims that he was attacked.

The sketch featured Smollett — played by Chris Redd —  claiming to Empire producers that he had evidence he was really attacked.

Sandra Oh played his manager.

“I just told you I was attacked!” Redd as Smollett says after one of the producers asks “what is wrong with you, man?”

Redd at Smollett — who was wearing a MAGA hat — then brings out a bag of clues to “prove” he was attacked.

He then pulls out Crest Whitestrips and three big red K’s.

“Three K’s. What do you think that means?” SNL’s Smollett asks, before saying he thought the Klan was a myth.

He next pulls out a Teletubby, which he notes is the gay one as further evidence he is a victim.

Finally, the producers break the news that they are letting Smollett go but SNL’s Smollett is not done yet.

He soon reappears, this time wearing a neck brace and insisting he’s been attacked again.
