During the White House press briefing on Tuesday, the TV behind White House press secretary Jen Psaki showed a slide with the title “Virtually All Hospitalizations and Deaths Are Among Unvaccinated People.”

The slide features four states – Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and Colorado – and cites news reports in those individual states about the unvaccinated being hospitalized.

For Florida, the slide shows an excerpt from a July 23 ABC reprint of a July 23 Associated Press report: “Officials have said more than 95% of those hospitalized were not vaccinated.”

For Ohio, a quote of a local ABC News headline of a July 26 report with the last name of that state’s Republican governor, Mike DeWine. It reads, “DeWine: 99% of Ohio COVID-19 deaths, hospitalizations in 2021 were unvaccinated.”

For North Carolina, there was a quote of a local news headline of a July 9 report that cited the state’s Department of Health and Human Services. It reads, “NCDHHS: Unvaccinated make up more than 99 percent of new COVID cases in May, June.”

Finally, for Colorado, the headline of a July 19 article in The Denver Post: “More than 96% of Colorado’s COVID hospitalizations, deaths in first half of 2021 were among the unvaccinated.”
