CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta blasted Laura Ingraham as a propagandist on Thursday, after the Fox News host criticized his treatment of President Donald Trump.

“Jim Acosta of CNN. He’s a nice person. He was complaining this morning on television — I know that’s not news — he was complaining that President Trump didn’t call on U.S. media at the summit presser and that he only called on the Russian and the Chinese journalists,” Ingraham reportedly said during her appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday. She added, “Well it turns out, a producer just told me, he called on ABC, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Bloomberg, and NPR. But he just didn’t call on Jim Acosta. The land of narcissism knows no bounds.“

She also added, “Kind of interesting and kind of sad because he’d probably get a better shake from the Chinese and Russian journalists.”

The mention of Acosta elicited loud boos from the CPAC crowd, per reports.

“Of course Laura Ingraham sides with the folks at Russian and Chinese State media,” Acosta fired back on Twitter. “Those are her kind of people.”

On Wednesday, Acosta criticized the president for snubbing him during a joint press conference with Kim Jong Un, reporting on CNN that Trump opted instead to call on foreign journalists and Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Acosta has leveled criticisms at Fox News in the past. Also this week, an interview was published in which Acosta called Fox News “a potential state TV” in its infancy.

“That network primarily serves as a house organ for the [Trump] administration,” Acosta claimed.
