Congressman Ron DeSantis (R- FL) won the Republican primary in the Florida gubernatorial race after receiving some high-profile endorsements.

The most notable endorsement he received, of course, was from President Donald Trump, who tweeted congratulations to him tonight:

Such a fantastic win for Ron DeSantis and the people of the Great State of Florida. Ron will be a fantastic Governor. On to November!

DeSantis was running against Adam Putnam and tonight, after complimenting his primary opponent, he thanked campaign volunteers and some notable “great surrogates”:

“Matt Gaetz was out on the road with us raising a little hell now and then. We had people like Sean Hannity come down, and Mark Levin, which was just phenomenal.”
