WATCH: Mueller Witness Randy Credico and the Dog Roger Stone Threatened Get Stopped on Street by MSNBC

MSNBC’s The Beat with Ari Melber tracked down and street-interviewed Roger Stone pal Randy Credico — also known as ‘Person No. 2’ in indictments — along with the dog that Stone famously threatened, in a segment that aired on Thursday.

Host Ari Melber introduced the video by first detailing the background and pointing out that just as Michael Cohen has alleged intimidation by Donald Trump and those who defend him, Credico has also brought up intimidation by Stone.

Melber showed a clip of his previous interview with Credico. The threats against the dog and Credico, as it turned out, was worth investigating as witness tampering as far as Special Counsel Robert Mueller was concerned, something Melber explained leading up to Thursday’s street interview.

When The Beat caught up with Credico, he was rather fittingly outside a pet store with the very dog, Bianca, that was the subject of the threats.

“Bob Mueller later said that was a crime, citing Stone’s text as an obstruction and witness tampering against the dog,” said Melber. He noted that Credico has not been making TV appearances as many others involved have. “Tonight, he’s not doing a full interview, but here at The Beat, our cameras did just catch up with him at perhaps a fitting location. This is his first televised remark since he was indicted.”

“Bianca is one of the best treated dogs in the country. She just got cleaned, she gets cleaned every couple of weeks, it’s very expensive, and she’s well-fed. She only eats chicken, sirloin and salmon. That’s her diet,” said Credico.

Stone’s threat was that he would allege mistreatment to have the dog taken away, which again, may seem trivial or lighthearted, but rose to the level of criminal investigation in the eyes of the Mueller probe.

“People should stop saying in social media that this dog is mistreated,” Credico added, likely referring to Stone fans and other MAGA Twitter users who turn on those who may be perceived as a threat to Trump.

Melber’s team did ask about a full interview about the case and what he knows about Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, and Credico said he would be giving at some point to The Beat.

“Our invite is open for all Mueller witnesses, with or without pets,” said Melber as he closed out the segment.
