Fox News’ Tucker Carlson opened his show Friday night going off on the liberal media and NBC/MSNBC in particular following a report from journalist Yashar Ali.

To recap: Ali described today he had a fairly innocuous scoop about Democratic primary debates that somehow resulted in into NBC News managing editor of politics Dafna Linzer calling him to, as he put it, “bully me on behalf of the DNC.”

“I’m not naive to the fact that this incident is going to be twisted by some with an agenda to discredit the media and say they collude with political parties,” he tweeted. “But I think its more important to expose bad behavior then keep it under wraps. What Dafna did was unethical.”

Tonight Carlson covered the “pretty shocking” exchange and said, “The head political executive at NBC News was doing errands for the DNC. She’s a hack.”

He pointed to other issues like NBC News not running Ronan Farrow‘s Harvey Weinstein reporting and its Brett Kavanaugh coverage before saying CNN followed Democratic talking points on health care after the Mueller report was filed.
