Fox News’ The Five Knocks Biden for ‘Caving’ After Calling Pence Decent: ‘You Cannot Fold to the Mob’
The hosts of Fox News’ The Five criticized former Vice President (and likely 2020 candidate) Joe Biden for apologizing for his comments about Vice President Mike Pence being a “decent guy.”
You’re right, Cynthia. I was making a point in a foreign policy context, that under normal circumstances a Vice President wouldn’t be given a silent reaction on the world stage.
But there is nothing decent about being anti-LGBTQ rights, and that includes the Vice President.

Greg Gutfeld said the former veep’s response was “weak” because “he folded to a mob on social media.”
“If he gets that easily spooked, which is the opposite of being a leader, how is he going to handle the Twitter mob or even Trump in a debate?” he asked.
Jesse Watters said Biden “caved to the resistance” and brought up his own past views on gay marriage, while Marie Harf noted that what we’re seeing so far is “voters care about a very different things than the online Twitter mob.”
Kennedy said, “You cannot fold to the mob, and you can’t anticipate them and you also can’t passify them. So don’t even try.”
