Actor James Woods said he is worried the recent “Muslim invasion” of the USA will be the point where historians look back and say the country took a nosedive into hell.

He shared his concern about the rise of Islam during a Monday interview on right-wing pundit Benny Johnson’s show.

Woods — one of the few outspoken conservatives in Hollywood — said he believed the election of democratic socialist and Muslim Zohran Mamdani (D) as New York City’s mayor was “the most dangerous event” in modern American history. He said it signaled the downfall of the nation.

“Look, I think America is the greatest human endeavor in the history of humankind. I think it’s in terrible trouble. I mean, the city where the World Trade Center and the people in it were slaughtered and destroyed, how you could ever allow this Muslim invasion and cancer?” Woods asked.

“And they say, ‘What are you, prejudiced?’ Well, yes. I’m sorry to say it,” he continued.

Woods then told reporters watching the show,  “don’t keep [my last comment] if you quote it just that; I’m prejudiced against a religion — that’s really a political jihad — that actually has in its revered text that you will kill every non-believer.”

He continued:

You know, I’m a Catholic. I believe certain things. I don’t think certain other religions share my view, but they have a right to do it, this is America. And I’d say you have a right to do it anyway.

But you don’t have a right to practice something — I’m not going to sign up for “Team Muslim” or “Team Islam,” when Team Islam says “Oh, and by the way, we want to kill every one of you who’s not us.” Now you got a problem.

Johnson let Woods speak for a minute. He then pointed out some 9/11 families want Mamdani barred from the tribute later this year, honoring 25 years since nearly 3,000 people were murdered in the terrorist attack.

The Specialist star’s remarks on Islam come as the religion has quickly expanded in recent years. There were 2.6 million Muslims in America in 2010, which then jumped 32% over the next decade to 3.85 million.

Woods gave an ominous prediction for what will happen sooner or later in the States.

“They’re gonna kill us. They’re gonna outbreed us and kill us and it’s gonna be done,” he said. “Because they’re doing it in other places — Christians in Sudan and other places, they’re being slaughtered. They’re being eradicated.”
