Jim Walden, a lawyer representing a witness for Robert Mueller’s investigation, told MSNBC today that the special counsel will learn “everything and more” if President Donald Trump did indeed collude with Russia during the 2016 election.
“Based on your dealings with Mueller’s team, if there’s collusion, do you think they’ll find it?” MSNBC host Ari Melber asked Walden as he appeared on the network with three other lawyers representing Mueller witnesses.
“Yes,” he replied. “I think they’ll find everything and more.”
However, Walden also told Melber that he’s “not sure” if Mueller will find collusion. Two of the other lawyers on the panel said they do not believe the probe will result in a collusion discovery.

Walden also noted Rick Gates made the correct decision by flipping on Trump after being caught in Mueller’s probe and ultimately taking a guilty plea:
“He made the right legal call. Let’s take a step back, understand that these are some of the most troubling crimes that have occurred in our nation’s history at the highest levels of our government, played out across the media, around the world. People need to step up and provide information and help the American public understand who is running the government. If they don’t do that, for self-preservation reasons, or for reasons of patriotism, we all lose.”
