It’s New Years Eve, the world is celebrating, and Anderson Cooper is co-hosting CNN’s live show of the New York City ball drop with Bravo’s Andy Cohen. Naturally, hilarity ensued.

There have been plenty of notable moments in the evening for CNN so far: from Cohen revealing his baby’s gender, to Richard Quest dressing up as a giant pretzel. One of the funniest parts though was when the clock struck 9 P.M. so Cohen and Cooper both took a shot of tequila.

It didn’t go very well for the latter.

Cohen mentioned that his partner in crime wasn’t a big drinker, and judging by how Cooper gasped in agitation from the shot, it looks like he wasn’t kidding.

“Ahh! It’s like burning your lungs”

Never a dull moment.
