Trump Goes After Democrats on Immigration, Calls to Abolish ICE: ‘Crime Would Be Rampant’

President Donald Trump went after the Democrats again on Twitter today over continued calls to abolish ICE.
Those calls took center stage nationally after the widespread anger over family separations and the surprise win of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over Joe Crowley in New York last week. Ocasio-Cortez’s platform included calling for the agency to be abolished.
The President tweeted this morning that if Democrats get their way with ICE and “open borders,” “crime would be rampant and uncontrollable!”
The Liberal Left, also known as the Democrats, want to get rid of ICE, who do a fantastic job, and want Open Borders. Crime would be rampant and uncontrollable! Make America Great Again

Yesterday Trump tweeted a similar message declaring that Republicans want “Strong Borders and no Crime”:
When people come into our Country illegally, we must IMMEDIATELY escort them back out without going through years of legal maneuvering. Our laws are the dumbest anywhere in the world. Republicans want Strong Borders and no Crime. Dems want Open Borders and are weak on Crime!
