Trump Attacks ‘Television Reporting’ and ‘Wacko’ Judge for ‘Hurting My Very Good Children’ in NY Fraud Trial

One day after blasting “Leave my children alone!” former President Donald Trump returned to social media to once again demand Judge Arthur Engoron stop “hurting my very good children & working to damage & defame me for purposes of Interfering with the 2024 Presidential Election.”
Trump appeared to be unwittingly promoting his concern about how the New York State fraud trial was going for him, when he took to social media and wrote:
When Judge Arthur Engoron, one of the most overturned, on Appeal, Judges on the “bench,” stated that a Billion Dollar House is only worth 18 Million Dollars, & made numerous other mistakes, as well, he is the “Fraudster,” not me – He is just doing this out of his personal “Hatred of TRUMP,” his love of the publicity that this case is getting him, & his lack of respect for the Appeals Court (He is in total violation of their order ending much of this Witch Hunt right now. He refuses to do what they say he must!). Engoron is a wacko who is having a great time endlessly sanctioning, fining, & pushing around “TRUMP,” hurting my very good children, & working to damage & defame me for purposes of Interfering with the 2024 Presidential Election, all this while never admonishing our failed & corrupt Attorney General, whose “Star Witness” admitted he lied, & that I did NOT tell him to inflate values, a total reversal. Their whole case was based on this single LOSER, so it should be dismissed!
Trump’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, testified in a Lower Manhattan court Thursday, while his daughter, Ivanka Trump, is set to testify next week, as will the former president himself, who is not very happy with the coverage he has thus far received. To wit, Trump then turned to attack the “television reporting” of his fraud trial, of which he has already been found liable. He said on Truth Social:
The Television Reporting of the Biden Opponent Trial going on now in Manhattan is disgraceful. We have won virtually every single point, and it turned out that the publicity seeking Judge is the Fraud for saying that a Billion Dollar house is worth only $18,000,000, and for disregarding the Appeals Court decision against his actions. However, if you only listen to Fake News CNN or MSDNC, you will never hear the TRUTH!
“Television Reporting” is a unique way to describe the journalism that he likely consumes on cable news, and given the current digital media era we’ve been in for decades, indeed a throwback term familiar to anyone who discusses the news with grandparents or geriatric set.

Former President Donald Trump tore into the New York Post this week – a media outlet that was once one of his biggest boosters.
“Since the New York Post went bad on Trump and they have gone bad, their numbers have fallen tremendously,” Trump began in a short clip posted to social media.
“People aren’t buying it. They don’t want to read that. The New York Post has treated me great for almost a lifetime,” the 2024 GOP frontrunner continued, adding:
And now, for whatever reason, and I guess it’s radical left or the RINO stuff, they have gotten really bad and it’s ridiculous. But the numbers are down. Their numbers of readers and everything else has gone down tremendously. Great people are tired of hearing fake news. The New York Post used to be so good, but not anymore. We have to get it back before it’s too late because frankly, if they don’t change, there will be no more New York Post and that would be sad. Thank you.
The New York Post, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, has been covering Trump’s various ongoing legal troubles – as has the rest of the American media.
In recent days the Post ran headlines like “Mar-a-Lago was only worth $27M despite Trump Org. claiming $517M to gain edge: trial evidence,” and “Trump fraud trial live updates: ‘Defeated’ ex-prez calls for case to end after storming out of courtroom” – which undoubtedly irked Trump
The paper however continues to be staunchly on the right and opinion columnist Miranda Devine continues her coverage of President Joe Biden. Devine’s latest headline reads, “Anatomy of a Biden family ‘cover-up’ executed by our own FBI and DOJ.”

Australia’s soccer association on Tuesday announced it will not bid to host the 2034 Men’s World Cup. The move clears the path for Saudia Arabia to host the tournament.
The World Cup is set to be hosted in Asia or Oceania that year, and the deadline to place a bid was Tuesday. James Johnson, the head of Football Australia, previously said the country would be interested in placing a bid. On Tuesday, the organization announced it ultimately decided against it.
With Australia backing out, Saudi Arabia is the only country to have placed a bid.
“We have explored the opportunity to bid to host the FIFA World Cup and — having taken all factors into consideration — we have reached the conclusion not to do so for the 2034 competition,” Football Australia said in a statement.
The news is just the latest in a long list of moves Saudi Arabia has made to become a major player in the sports world. Months ago, the country shook the sports world when it was announced its Public Investment Fund, which operates LIV Golf, would be entering a partnership with the PGA. Additionally, the country has hosted a number of combat sports events and most recently held the heavyweight boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. Several high-profile soccer stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo, have taken their talents to Saudi Arabian clubs thanks to massive contracts.
These investments have been met with a great deal of pushback, however. Many have accused the country of “sportswashing,” a term that describes the act of investing heavily in sports to take the media’s attention away from controversy. Saudi Arabia has been at the center of multiple human rights issues as it has continued making big splashes in a number of sports.
