2020 presidential exploratory committee for South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg announced on Monday that the campaign has raised over $7 million since launching in January.

In an email, Buttigieg’s team said that their first financial reporting period ended at midnight on Monday.

This is just a preliminary analysis, but our team’s initial report shows we raised over $7 million in Q1 of this year. We (you) are out-performing expectations at every turn. I’ll have a more complete analysis later, but until then: a big thank you to all our supporters.

Buttigieg has made numerous media appearances in the past week including the hosting of a CNN Town Hall and a much-talked-about segment on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
