‘Time Out!’ CNN Panel Gets Heated Over Trump and Mueller Report

A CNN panel on President Donald Trump‘s new comments about the Mueller report got pretty heated tonight and Chris Cuomo had to jump in.

Cuomo knocked Trump for changing his tune on whether the report should come out, asking, “Why the change?”

Cortes said Trump isn’t necessarily changing, telling Cuomo he personally wants to see everything come out because “the facts are exculpatory to the president.”

He said no one cares about the minutiae of the report, but the accusation “that our president was a traitor.”

Angela Rye said it’s interesting to hear Cortes suggest Trump is being “transparent,” before bringing up the question of obstruction that hasn’t been fully answered yet.

Cortes said again he wants transparency, before saying, “You know what else I want to be transparent about? The FISA warrants under President Obama.”

“Time out!” Rye said. “Steve, not today, not today.”

“Not time out! I’m talking!” Cortes shot back.

They kept going back and forth, with Rye saying, “Steve, you took liberty in the middle of my comments to go down a road that we’re not on!”

Things got so heated that Cuomo had to jump in and stop it. “Not on this show,” he told them before continuing the debate. “This is disagreement with decency.”
