BREAKING: Trump Orders FBI to Conduct Supplemental Investigation of Kavanaugh

President Donald Trump has agreed with the Senate Judiciary Committee’s request for a supplemental FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh.

Jeff Flake requested a one-week delay on the final Kavanaugh vote, minutes before the committee’s vote today, and multiple colleagues agreed.

The committee made the official request to the White House and now Sarah Sanders has put out a statement from President Trump agreeing to order the investigation to be “completed in less than one week”:

“I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh’s file. As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.”
