CNN’s Brooke Baldwin: Trump Fulfilling a Major Promise, ‘The US Economy Is Booming’

“Really positive news on the economy for President Trump and Americans.”

With the new numbers on the GDP growth rate today, CNN’s Brooke Baldwin said, “Obviously the President fulfilling a major economic promise. The second-quarter economic growth rate is out, and the U.S. economy is booming.”

The growth rate hit 4.1%, as Trump announced earlier today:

Baldwin spoke with Monica Mehta and said right off the bat, “It’s great news!”

Mehta said there are definitely positives in the new stats, but added, “There is one catch in the GDP numbers that you’re seeing today. There’s definitely a spike in the second quarter numbers driven by trade war and fears of the trade war.”
